ASICS’ iconic Onitsuka Tiger sneaker has been around for decades, but this season it’s getting a fitting new colourway: introducing the Sakurazome sneakers, inspired by Japan’s cherry blossoms!

Released on 22 March 2018, the Sakurazome utilizes a unique hand-dyeing method which sees real cherry blossoms boiled and the colour extracted to create a natural, chemical-free pigment which is applied to the leather.

There are two styles available: the MEXICO 66 and TIGER ALLY will both don the soft pink colour, so there’s no excuse for not adding a subtle blush hue to every occasion.

If you’re in Japan this cherry blossom season, make sure to pick up a pair!
